      Karma's Hold (Solo Project)

​What I did:

  • I worked on the assets and animations.

  • I worked on the UI such as the hearts and the button prompts

  • Developed visual effects such as fog.

  • I designed and implemented the level layouts that the player goes through.

  • Programming for the player's and enemies' health systems.

  • Combat programming.

  • I programmed the cutscenes that play where the camera points to the locked off area.

  • I also programmed the cutscenes near the end where the player fights the boss, defeats the boss, and returns home.

Skills I developed:

  • Visual research to help solidify my designs and overall aesthetic

  • Effective prioritisation with certain assets in relation to weekly milestones along with the overall development timeline.

  • Risk assessment with developing and animating certain assets in order to keep within the scope of development.

  • Art software used: Clip Studio Paint
